Hi Guys, I run the Far Out Website or the mail comes to me first. Thanks for your interest in the Wineries! I invite you to come by my winery Dunning Vineyards at 1953 Niderer Road. We are one of the first on the Westside. We planted in 1991 and began production of all estate wines in 1994. I would love to show you around personally. Just give me a heads up by phone if possible. We are open Thurs.- Monday 11-5.
We also have lodging at Dunning Vineyards Guest Villa.

I’m so excited that Hoot AND Annie are going to attend Uncorked’s Anniversary Party! We will have most or our clients represented either on the machines or available from the bottle. Come & try some Hidden Oak, Laraneta, Nicolaysen, Sharp’s Hill, Ben Hogan, Barr Estate, Bodega de Edgar and quite a few others…

Thank you for the wonderful blog post about us at Oso Libre! I was just reading your blog this last weekend hoping that you would come in and see us. Little did I know that you already had, and I must have poured you some wine… This is a fantastic site and service to our community. A blog like this takes real commitment and hard work (although very fun). Thank you from all of us at Oso Libre.

Hi Jeff! Thank you so much for the great feedback! We really enjoyed Oso Libre, you guys really have a good thing going out there! We love working hard drinking wine and meeting new people…it’s rough, but somebody’s got to do it! Keep us updated on what’s going on at Oso Libre, we love to promote winery events, too!

Cool site and great mission! I have a similar mission though I try to accomplish my goals from the east coast (PA). The whole reason I started my website was to share the information I learn as I learn it. Great job and look forward to more good reads!

Hey Steve! Thanks for the feedback! It’s definitely all about the learning experience…wine is such a personal experience. Cheers to you and your site…keep in touch!!

    Hello-

A friend introduced me to your Evan’s Ranch, 2008 Santa Rita Hills Chardonnay La Marina. Is it possible to purchase direct from you? If not, where can I buy it?

    Thank you

    • By Hoot 'n Annie, November 28, 2011 @ 7:32 am

Hi Ken, we aren’t affiliated with Evan’s Ranch, we just blogged on our experience in their tasting room. They’re part of Gainey Vineyard, so I’m sure if you contacted Gainey that they’d tell you how to get a hold of the wine. It’s pretty awesome! Good luck!

Matt and Annie, great meeting you at PoHo yesterday – despite you being Niner fans and all…. ;-) Love the blog. I’ll be following. Looking forward to reading about the 50 adventures as the year progresses. Hope to run into you both again soon.

Hey Stormy…great meeting you as well! Thanks for following and we’ll try to keep you entertained! Hope to see you and share another beer soon! Cheers!!!

Hi! Just a note to say that I love what you guys are doing and now that I have found you, I will follow your adventures & share with friends! From what I have read, I think you would enjoy a visit to our little ocean view wine bar in Cayucos, Full Moon Wine Bar & Bistro. We showcase several local artisan boutique wineries & some good stuff from around the globe, plus we have European Bistro style nibbles. So, the next time you are out our way, come check us out! I am looking forward to meeting you both in person & having a good chat!

Hi Jeannette! Thanks for finding us!!! We would love to visit you in Cayucos…as you may have noticed, we’re sort of addicted to hanging out at Schooner’s and staring at the ocean. We’ll come find you next time we’re over there. We look forward to meeting and chatting with you, too! Cheers!!!
