Sunset Magazine Wine Editor, Sara Schneider
There’s an event put on by Sunset Magazine called “SAVOR the Central Coast” here locally, and we got to attend this year. The event is all about featuring the food, wine, and agricultural mecca that our area is coming to be known for. In other words, the Central Coast has a lot to offer, and why not bring it all together in one spot?
Sunset Magazine does a great job of pulling the event off, which isn’t surprising, considering that they’ve been writing beautiful articles on food, wine, and gardening for many years! Part of the team responsible for all of this is Sara Schneider, wine editor for the magazine. She was out at the event and we got the chance to chat her up. We met up with her in the quiet little “media” room and got to ask her about her job (a job we could all be jealous of!) which consists of tasting and writing about wine! Hey, wait…we do that, too!
Anyway, it was an honor to talk with Sara and hear about how much she loves her job and loves bringing information to her readers about distinctive and intriguing wines and regions.
